We have a week of planetary shifts, celebrations, a new moon and a secret birthday. Thursday, Mercury and Chiron team up in Pisces, the sign of compassion and saving the world.
Late Saturday night Sun enters Pisces, showering the Earth with the “Light of the World”. “The Light of Pisces reveals the Light of Life itself, ending forever the darkness of matter (ignorance).” All of Earth’s kingdoms absorb this “saving” Pisces light.
During Pisces, humanity (we, designated as a whole as World Servers and Saviors on Earth) is clearly informed of its sacred tasks – “to save ourselves in order to survive, sustain and thrive into the new world”. And that we must actually create that new world ourselves, through the formation of communities in every town and city, state and nation throughout the world. Who hears and understands this message?
Monday is President’s Day (Lincoln & Washington’s birthday). Tuesday is festive Mardi Gras and a new moon of Pisces. “Go forth into matter,” are the words for Pisces when building the personality. Information on the personality is below and reference is made to the personality in a ritual in the Catholic church on Ash Wednesday.
Lent, Ash Wednesday, Preparation
Wednesday (secret birthday day) is Ash Wednesday. The priest places a cross of ashes (made from palms given out last Palm Sunday, gathered each year and burned) on the forehead of parishioners while saying the words,
“From dust thou are (you were made) and unto dust thou shalt return.”
These words are spoken to the personality body, the physical body, which is not a life principle. The physical body, with its emotions and lower mind/brain (which is the personality), is a vehicle made out of the matter of the Earth. Within this “body” the Spirit of God dwells – our creator, the spark that animates us. This spark is the Light of Life Itself, the 1st Principle. This is the Pisces Light that saves the world. This is esoteric.
Wednesday is also first day of Lent – 40 days/night of preparation and purification for Easter/Resurrection and the first (of three) Spring Festival(s) of Aries. Let is an outward sign and external name (originally Lent meant the season of Spring, then came to be known as 40 day & 40 nights in preparation for Spring). Our actions during Lent imitate Mars (and Mercury) retrograde activities. We grow in quiet reflection, contemplation, study and knowledge, which purify, enabling us to participate in the upcoming Three Spring festivals which set the template for the following new and full moon festivals.
Three Spring Festivals
Since the winter solstice, the New Group of World Servers has been preparing with the Hierarchy (Ray 2, the inner spiritual government, Disciples of the Christ who is the Head of Hierarchy, creators of the Plan on Earth based on the Will of God) for the Three Spring festivals (Aries, Taurus, Gemini solar festivals at the full moon), and especially for Wesak, the Buddha Full moon Taurus solar Festival. The Three Spring Festivals direct the creative tasks of humanity that, over time, “Restore the Plan on Earth.”
The Three Festivals and the new and full moons that follow direct us toward the Pathway of Return through the sacred use of astrological knowledge. Astrology is a “unified field theory) that expedites the search for spiritual truth, allows one to “Know the self, “ and brings forth & cultivates the synthesis of universal, human and divine values.
Esoteric Astrology
The study (and daily application) of Esoteric Astrology guides and focuses disciples on the work we must accomplish to create the new world with its new culture & civilization. Below is a quote from the Tibetan on what we are to do as the New Group of World Servers in constructing the new Aquarian world. We no long wait for others (in charge, in power, anyone else) to do the work for us. Creating the new world is our new world work. And it can only be accomplished within connective and collective groups, intentionally working together. Are you in such a group? If not, think of yourself as able to initiate and begin one.
The Task (from the Tibetan)
“We must understand and be dedicated to rebuilding the shrine of man’s living, to reconstructing the form of humanity’s life, to reconstitute the new civilization upon the useful foundations of the old, and to the reorganize of the structures of world thought, world politics, plus the redistribution of the world’s resources in conformity to divine purpose. Then and only then will it be possible to carry the revelation (of the Will to Good, Will of God) further.” (from Rays & Initiations, p. 255)
These things we must concentrate on. We hold the words in our hearts. It is no longer useful to concentrate on what others are NOT doing. Let us absorb these words from the Tibetan and move forward in new Identity of Tasks ahead. Let us do this intentionally and together.
ARIES: A quiet peaceful change comes into your life. You become sensitive, compassionate and sympathetic towards everyone, especially those in need. You’re drawn to things mystical, religious, spiritual, meditative, functioning behind the scenes and the why isn’t apparent. You seek forgiveness while offering it. You allow no persecutions of any kingdom. Here your Aries comes forth.
TAURUS: All that you do, consider and ponder upon has to do with groups, friendships, organizations and the forming of community that restores and reforms society. You know what’s coming. You are concerned with hosting new ideas, creating collective objectives, helping others realize hopes, wishes and dreams that sustain life on earth. There is a mantram that is useful to say. “Let reality govern my every thought and truth be the master of my life.”
GEMINI: You can use mantram for Taurus, too, Gem. It’s very useful for the dissolution of glamours – not only the glamours of self but when encountering the glamours (distortions, miasmas, illusions) of others. Eliminating glamours help us focus on accomplishing goals, helps us achieve a successful public life, allows for an honorable reputation. You have authoritative tasks to perform and an influential position to fulfill for the saving of humanity. You might begin to prepare now.
CANCER: The light of Pisces Sun is providing you with aspirations and high ideals to learn something new that develops a new level of consciousness leading to wisdom. Remember to never assume a position of knowing until it is experienced or its validity proven. You will expand your mind through travel, study, a philosophy or encountering soil and the earth (gardening). Then you are to teach others. Be adventurous and experiential.
LEO: You search for your values. They have changed over the years. You explore the values of others, listening to their talk of sex, intimacy, money, death, regeneration. You discover your ability to diagnose illness in friends, extending this ability to pets. You like to be the detective, and for a while read mysteries that provide courage through conflict. Be not jealous or combative. You will lose. Life in the shadows for a while is best.
VIRGO: You find yourself through relationship interactions, whether intimate, close friends or who and what you identify with in the moment. You want to cooperate, seeking harmony within all situations so a sense of life-in-balance emerges. From person to the political, from social justice to world peace, you travel the range of relationships within the world of humanity’s endeavors. Do you remember the esoteric formula for peace?
LIBRA: You become practical in all ways, tending to daily necessities for self and others. You become the social worker for the world, using your gifts and capacities to create roles for others so they too can be of assistance and be of service. You make improvements wherever you go, tending to details, being scientific and concrete in your healing information. You drop all levels of criticism. You understand forgiveness.
SCORPIO: When observing you for a time we sense a new level of dignity emanating from you. We also sense a new level of creative self-expression, which in time can lead the world in a new artform that restores the art of living to the world. Sometimes, you focus on happiness, things that entertain and are playful with games, children and/or sports. You speculate on ways resources can emerge into form and matter and used to create a new world. You meditate upon this daily.
SAGITTARIUS: Family continues to be your concern – creating, tending to, or writing about one. Your history is like a tree growing within you, its roots go deep; the trunk is your life force, and the leaves how you interact with the world. Realize how important parents were, whether they were good enough or not, all parents are “good enough” in terms of what we must learn (and realizing we choose them). A radical thought. Moodiness may assail you. Take shelter.
CAPRICORN: You’re interested new ways of communicating, expressing yourself and talking with family, friends, neighbors and siblings. Most important will be things literary and artistic, either in books, attending museums, music fests or simply reconsidering how to once again bring forth the arts. You love change now and are very adaptable. Realize that others around may not be. Restlessness can upset our organized and artistic apple cart. Draw your greenhouse.
AQUARIUS: During this month you will be asked to consider the values within yourself, your abilities, talents, resources and all possessions. You will realize you have vast resources, some of which you will want to give away. You will seek ways of making money and will find a state of reserved strength that sustains conservative yet liberal values. You will seek comfort and a new love to keep you warm.
PISCES: There’s a sense of well-being, exaltation and a radiant willingness in all that you do. You will initiate new ideas others will accept, reject and react to. This is good. Controversy is good, calling forth the harmony at the core of chaos and conflict. The many heavenly lights in Pisces are creating a state of dignity, magnetism and confidence within. Handling all that Pisces is Mars retro in Virgo. Tend with care to diet and health care. Think green (plants, clothes, drinks, shoes, etc.).

There’s a Path From Me to You…
We begin the week on Thursday, with Venus joining Uranus in Aries. Venus represents money, resources and values. Uranus “creates the revolution” and needed new archetypes. And Aries initiates “all things new.” The energies are building for a showdown (breakdown) in March. The keynote at this time is preparation.
Thursday Mercury (thinking) is inconjunct (unable to understand or cooperate) retrograde Mars (action). Friday Sun also inconjuncts retrograde (internalized) Mars. No matter how much talk there is of preparation, is it just too overwhelming to consider?
Monday, Mercury trine (harmony) Saturn (structure) allows us to think about the purpose, discipline and structure (all Saturn) of preparation (to withstand future change). Then Mercury enters Pisces (“saving the world”). We realize we must save ourselves first, before saving the world.
Tuesday is Valentine’s Day. Mercury joins Neptune in Pisces. A day of love, devotion, candy, kisses, hearts, flowers and, for some, delusions, illusions and consuming too much chocolate. Beware! Valentine’s Day is v/c from 9:04 am till 5:00 pm (west coast) when moon enters food, fun, adventure loving Sag. Give Valentine gifts either early morning (around dawn) or later in the evening. We don’t connect well during v/c. Often we feel lost.
A few poems for Valentine’s Day. e.e.cummings writes “be of love (a little) More careful than of everything.” Janis sings, “Come on, come on, take another little piece of my heart now, baby.” About love, from Rumi. “Our task is not to seek love, but to seek and find all the barriers within we have built against it.” Also from Rumi, “There’s a path from me to you that I am constantly looking for.” Venus in Aries on Valentine’s Day. A wild and passionate Venus! “Be still my heart!”
ARIES: Venus is in your first house of self-identity. You’re becoming a bit more attractive and charming. However, that ‘edge” you carry, is now your heart on your sleeve, filled with unexpected feelings, diplomatic abilities, magnetic keeping-the-peace responses. To be even more interesting show a real interest in art, dance, ancient artifacts and music. Tend head, hair and face with care – your valuable assets. Cooperate more.
TAURUS: You’re most likely in retreat, a usual state of affairs for Taurus who can be seen in meadows, farms, hill and dale, but often not in crowds. Taurus is not very urbanized. A good thing. They are private, expressing love behind protective veils (doors), in the quietude of their home(s). Venus is known for both bringing romance and ending things. Ending a value or a resource no longer useful. Taurus is either the singer or the one who can’t sing. Both express themselves in hopes and dreams.
GEMINI: You think about hopes, dreams and wishes, joining or forming a group of spiritual friends who share your same (esoteric) interests. This would make you happy (your personality) and joyful (Soul response). Venus, whose light protects you, assists in this endeavor. It would be good to make more contact with Venus who waits patiently to hear your aspirations (now tinged with sadness because the time is not yet). It will be soon. You must be ready.
CANCER: Have you found new friends, perhaps one in particular? Do you realize others like you because you have qualities that are likable, knowledgeable, competent and practical? People look at your reputation and the presence you bring to all gatherings. You have authority and Venus is softening it so everyone can hear you more easily. It’s good to pursue something artistic. What would you like that to be?
LEO: Anything routine makes you feel caught, caged and slightly crazy. You simply must be let free, able to pursue travel, journeys, new insights, new realities, new waves of thought streaming through the ethers. Something exotic is happening to the way you express yourself. Attractive before, now you’re magnetic and becoming even more popular. Something you would never consider becomes a possibility.
VIRGO: Multiple realities, all connected to eighth (Scorpio) house endeavors, may appear. Something financial and resourceful comes forth. Sharing power becomes possible because you want to harmonize differences, soothe any chaos or conflict, become intimate in terms of spiritual understanding (also physical). If partnered, you realize their goodness in the depth of your heart.
LIBRA: Venus provides you with wisdom of how to be in a relationship (or how to leave it). Love your partner with all your heart and your Soul. Create deep intimate connections through praise and appreciation. This heals and brings forth gifts in the relationship. Be intentionally willing to compromise, adapt and make peace. If single apply these to friends and family. Everything becomes your relationship.
SCORPIO: You have a special task in the coming months. To create and anchor a true (not only outer) harmony in all environments – from work to home to yard to garden to garage to car. Organizing outer harmony will create an inner sense of joy and pleasure. Being successful now means being cooperative, instilling in everyone a team spirit, and having the willingness to understand and serve the needs of others. Try.
SAGITTARIUS: You become more charming, playful and dramatic. Even your choice of music and food reflects this. Are children around? They will reflect this also, especially the dramatic parts. Your self-expression enters a Venusian (soft, loving, romantic) phase of creativity. There’s so much to be cheerful about. So much fun to have. So many dramatic situations to enter!
CAPRICORN: Your almost entire focus is home and family, in whatever way you live this archetype. You seek antiques and ancient artifacts, are nostalgic for things traditional, value color, art and books in your home and all that you create is peaceful, beautiful and sustainable. You think about how to build a greenhouse to house and nurture your lovely plants. You are calm and serene. Home is your value and your pleasure.
AQUARIUS: We find you talking a lot these days, making plans, being out and about in neighborhoods, possible talking to farmers or working with them to bring forth the necessary food for humanity. You find many companions along the way that agree with your values, interests and exchange of ideas that, for many, become great ideals. All you do benefits humanity. Good work.
PISCES: A level of contentment is felt in your heart and mind. Wherever you are, you feel safe, secure and in the right place. After a while you feel concern for your finances, security and the future. It is good at this time to offer yourself in service to others without thought of compensation. And to make greater and more contact. In this way, love is released which creates your present and future well-being.

Thursday is Groundhog Day (and the groundhog returned to his burrow. He saw his “shadow” [which reminds me of the book “The Shadow of the Object” by Christopher Bollas, an object relations author & book concerning our memories of (the object, mother, father, etc. in our) earliest relationships]).
Thursday is also Candlemas Day, a day of significance astronomically and religiously. Candlemas marks the moment in time (day) between winter solstice and spring equinox (cross-quarter day). Like a spring festival of preparation, we turn over the soil and begin to prepare it biodynamically. We sort our seeds, call forth their life-force, thus securing our future food supply. The Light is returning. We feel hope.
It is also St. Brigid’s Day (ends February 2nd). We make and offer multi-grain bread, we weave a cross out of grain (wheat) & hang it in our homes to protect us from fires and lightening. We make corn dollies from dried (soaked in water) corn sheaves and give the dollies away as gifts.
In the Catholic Church, Candlemas, 40 days after Christmas, marks the end of Epiphany. On this day, the holy child and Mary are presented in the Temple. Mary is bathed (Mary was purified in a ritual – a mikvah – bath of sea-salt water) and the holy child (Jesus) is recognized as the promised and long awaited “Light of the world.” Let us, too, bathe ourselves in salt water. Let us be the “Light of the world” for thirsty humanity (Aquarian task).
This is a festival-of-fire-day, acknowledging the Sun’s rising light. Thus, in the church today, pure beeswax candles are blessed to be used throughout the year for light & protection. These rituals anchor into our little worlds the Light of Life. They connect us to the Earth and to the heavens. We come into balance on this cross-quarter day. We prepare.
Neptune Enters Pisces
Friday, February 3rd, after 14 years in Aquarius, Neptune enters its own sign of Pisces (after 164 years in the other signs), remaining there until 2025. Neptune was last in Pisces in 1947 ushering in the romantic era of art, literature and music – Walt Whitman (hope), Brahms (romantic music), Charles Dickens (sad) and impressionism (new impressions, new ways of seeing) came forth.
Neptune esoterically is a subtle new state of Soul (Christ) consciousness. Neptune will be in Pisces for fourteen years, thus bringing forth a phenomenal change of consciousness for humanity. Changes in healing, the arts, creativity, the uses of water, vibrational medicine, alleviating suffering, spiritual groups seeking deepened spiritual knowledge and understanding.
The emphasis will be to “save the world.” From the heart of the Sun, Neptune streams forth Ray 2, Love/Wisdom, to the world. And we are changed.
We will attempt to be perfect, perfecting abilities, organizing our disorganization.
U.S. Chart
In the US chart – this week leads up to transiting Uranus square Venus (in the US chart). We must expect the unexpected in relation to money, finance, resources. The energies of change begin building toward the transiting Saturn square Pluto (transformation of all structures) that occurs March 28th. On March 14th, a trine occurs, all at 9 degrees in the sky in earth signs, between Mars, Pluto & Jupiter/Venus. Esoterically this is a significant trine. I will discuss this at a later time.
On an inner spiritual level, this trine provides us with the “light of knowledge.” There is a Ray 1 (Will, Purpose, Destruction, Creativity) energy behind it. Ray 1 breaks down materialism and material desires, to propel the Soul forward. Any desires that hinder the good of the whole for humanity, is broken down. Heart & mind are connected. The new values come forth for the new kingdom coming forth. The Mars retro in Virgo purifies (our mikvah) our material substance and structures. It quickens us to come for with all that is new (after the retro).
It is uplifting humanity, in the etheric, to higher and greater values. On the personality, appearance side of this tranist, we may see destruction of all we are used to having. On the spiritual side, the appearance of which doesn’t correspond with the physical realities, we are being propelled forward to step upon the evolutionary arc – the Path of Return.
The U.S. Chart & Transits
From now until (and through) March, the U.S. chart has transits that affect our personal, national and global money and finances. All of the transits (planets in the sky are situation in the money houses of the U.S. chart (the 2nd house). The question for each of us is where is our money and what are we invested in? This transit is a potent focus of creative energies that will destroy barriers that obstruct the new social and monetary forms. There is uncertainty about how the old will be withdrawn for the rebuilding and regenerating to take place. We may feel difficulty in executing our will(ingness) to exercise our choices that reflect the new values. However, we must.
Saturn retrograde in Libra forces us to the “point of balance” so we can escape the opposing forces” and move forward in the creation of the new. We must hold our mind and hearts in an steady embrace of compassion and intention that helps create the new. We cannot enter the new world with any of the old structures for they are not supported or sustainable. All of humanity stands within this evolutionary force and impulse of emerging higher values.
Number 9 (trine all at 9 degrees) represents the spiritual force of humanity coming forth. Transparency follows so the true reality can emerge. The veils hiding the true realities and spiritual values will be lifted. This is good. Let us stand within the Buddhic (4th plane, the plane beteen the 3 upper & 3 lowers planes on the Constitution of Man/Mind) plane (pure reason, Raincloud of Knowable Things) where the past, present and future meet and work together. We must make choices now. We stand in the last moments (days) when true choice can be made.
We are being asked to remove ourselves from the “shadow of the objects” that bind, blind, and enthrall us; specifically the state of materialism that humanity is enshrouded within. Practically, the questions for each of us remain the same: where is my money, where are my resources, where and who is my community, where is my food supply, where is my water, what & who am I supporting in the world, what is my future, and most importantly, am I prepared for a world change if it happens unexpectedly? Each day presents us with counsel, guidance, direction & warnings.
Tuesday is the full moon Aquarius solar festival. Saturn in Libra turns stationary retrograde in the early morning. During the night, Venus (economics, money into precious metals) enters Aries (all things new) as Mars continues its retrograde in Virgo (new reality is forming). It’s a busy planetary week. Saturn retrograde means we examine all structures, disciplines, rules and boundaries, assessing their function, usefulness and purpose. What prepares us for the future? We reconsider commitments and responsibilities, reorganize and renegotiate previous agreements. New business opportunities should not be initiated during Saturn retrograde. However, preparations for the future must accelerate. Saturn provides the discipline and structures to accomplish this. We have till March.
The full moon is the Full Snow moon. The Aquarian seed thought is “Water of life poured forth for thirsty humanity.” We are to be the “waters of life” pouring forth our service to uplift, educate and support “thirsty humanity.” Let us accomplish this task together. Mars Retrograde in Virgo
Everyone has heard (and talks) about Mercury retrograde. Lesser known are Mars & Venus retrogrades, joining Mercury retrograde this year. Mars retrograded January 23rd (last Monday) – a long three-month Mars retrograde. Mars, retrograding only every two years (51-84 days), is very significant for humanity.
Mars provides us with the energy, assertion, desires and the will to exist, to be and to act. Mars rules our ability to proceed into the world. Mars, god of war and warriors, gives us strength and directs us outward into experiences that build our personality to become a strong vehicle for the Soul.
Mars works with Aries (taking risks to bring forth all things new), with Scorpio (provides the Nine Tests of the Personality) and with Sagittarius (the devic angelic beings that give our bodies life – life force). Mars in Virgo means that our thinking (Virgo works with Mercury) will be internalized; there will be a quickening within us (new life). We will consider appropriate actions to take when Mars turns direct again (Friday, April 13).
With Mars retrograde in Virgo we ponder upon beliefs and opinions, health, nutrition, medicine and how to better serve. Animals are ruled by Virgo. We notice the animal kingdom becomes irritated, often ill and that many in the animal kingdom die when Virgo is involved. Hospitals and military staff, social workers, labor unions all may experience unrest. We remember that humanity works within Ray 4, a new harmony resulting from conflict and chaos. This will be very apparent during Mars retrograde.
We will attempt to be perfect, perfecting abilities, organizing our disorganization.
U.S. Chart
The U.S. chart has Mars retrograde joining Neptune. Our country can be inspired to tend to things at home. Mars can also be war. All of us must be cautious. And listen for the still small voices directing us within. Nothing, with Mars retro, is “normal.” Vitality seems depleted. It is not a time to initiate (begin) anything. If things are initiated (relationship, plans, ideas, financial investments, etc.) it will be frustrated, plagued with problems and finally fall apart. Whoever initiates the action (lawsuit, war, fires the first shot) is the one who loses.
Daily Life
Activities do not run smoothly. Everyone becomes irritated if business as usually continues. We don’t buy any mechanical appliances. The world seems to break down when Mars is retrograde. We should not force matters, seek conclusions, or initiate immediate action. We find it important to go over and over situations, especially mentally, to insure order, to make corrections, to review. Anger and subtle power plays, intolerance and criticism may occur. Instead of focusing on these, it’s best to ask what are my deepest callings? What is calling to us? To me?
Let us not be lost by our inability to see the larger life picture. Virgo often sees only the small details. That is their task. However, we can lose ourselves in small details resulting in hurts and accidents (Mars). It is a good time to begin a new journal (of the seasons, daily life, prayers, mantrams, esoteric studies, etc.). Let us call forth our practical skills (Virgo) and our creative intelligence (Mercury) so that we can continue to serve others (Virgo’s task) throughout the retrograde.
ARIES: Slowly over the next many years, all that is within you, often unknown and unheeded, will surface. So much is buried within. All these, like Vesta, are the “found objects” of ourselves, waiting for the right time and season to emerge. It will surface in dreams, symbols, omens, and talismans. The mystery of yourself will be revealed. You will see unseen worlds. Faith and trust and hope become your guides.
TAURUS: You will enter into a newer and wider group of people, like-minded, socially conscious, and spiritual aware. You will all be artistic, creative and quite unusual. You will create, build and form a community that is the template for the new culture. You have yearned for this. Continue to imagine it. You will lead it.
GEMINI: Should you feel uncertain about your work in the world, know that this is part of Neptune’s function, attempting to refine you into the new ways of being in the world. Neptune is slowly. But its watery ways slowly undermine any old ideas that you can act like everyone else. You can’t. What you’re left with in your imagination. What do you imagine would make you joyful?
CANCER: There will be an emphasis on entering deeper into mystical and/or esoteric teachings. It will be good to read Rumi. You will also seek places that are far away from home. So that you can learn new ways, enter into new places of knowledge, gather ancient wisdoms. You will also be called to teach. Humanity is thirsty for real knowledge. You understand humanity.
LEO: There may be explorations, deeper and more profound, into issues concerning death, sex, rock & roll, and everything else transformational. Taxes, too. And freedoms. And money. Questions like what is death and what is the function of sex? Am I sexy? What’s sexy to me? And how do we want our money to be used to create the new paradigm shift? The world is calling us to be sharing responsibly.
VIRGO: You will see others through the lens of everyone and everything as spiritual. You will see and recognize the life force. Some will see the actual angels (devas) building the kingdoms. You will discover what unconditional love means. First by seeking it. Then by providing it. A sacred contract. You will make new connections. Love will be released. Different than before.
LIBRA: A new authenticity will come forth from within and your lifestyle will change. Forgiveness will continue. Begin with yourself first. What can you forgive? All daily routines will focus on creating and sustaining vibrant health. Become very careful and caring with health. Unusual allergies may arise. Stay with homoepathics and homeopathic practitioners. As forgiveness comes forth, you become more authentically of service to others.
SCORPIO: You are the master of illusion. You will meet others who also have your gift, protecting themselves against all emotional intrusions. You will come to a point when feelings of aloneness must give way to making true contact. Romance may find you. You can be “romanced” by ideas, by a rare coin or flower, one of the kingdoms calling to you. You will become “intimate” with new ideas.
SAGITTARIUS: There will be a great return to family of origin, family stories, history; it’s successes, disappointments, strengths and yearnings. What sacrifices did your family make? And how you hold all of these for your family. What wealth (not necessarily money) did your family build? You too yearn. For closeness and care. Let’s pray for it together.
CAPRICORN: Gradually you will notice the many forms of non-verbal communication and expression surrounding you. It’s as if you can hear (and see) the angels building form out of substance. Read the Findhorn Garden (the picture book again). Your intuition discovers all the subtle signals no one else sees. This stimulates your imagination. Community, gardens, greenhouses are your keywords.
AQUARIUS: Make sure to be careful with input and output of money. It may feel that the outflow is greater than the inflow. And perhaps it is. Eventually your ideas about money will change. New values will replace previously accepted values about money and how it’s made. A new spiritual reality comes forth and you enter gladly into the new sharing society. Watch for this.
PISCES: You may become a bit more subtle, refined, changeable, whimsical and elusive. You may feel the need for more rest, reflection and contemplation. You may experience Oneness, the Love of God. Your identity may shift and lines blur around boundaries. You become mysterious and reflect the needs of others. You “save” others by inspiring compassion.

Chinese New Year of the Yang Water Dragon:Year of Imagining, Thunder & Lightning, Rain & Whirlwinds, New Paths, Radical Approaches, Innovation, Exploratory, Non-Routine, Adaptable & Majestic
Sun enters Aquarius Friday morning – the “Light that shines on Earth and across the sea.” We have returned to Earth from the summit of Capricorn; we absorbed the Light Supernal (heavenly light), radiating now from our hearts – healing light, to serve humanity in Aquarius. We become the “waters of life for thirsty humanity.” This week has several important festivals and the red planet retrograding. New moon festival (3 degrees Aquarius, “Strengthening the arms of the New Group of World Servers”) is midnight Sunday.
Monday two important astrological events occur:
- Chinese (based upon propitious Jupiter’s cycles) New Year of the Yang (radiating opportunities) Water Dragon begins (celebrated for 2 weeks)
- Mars in Virgo turns stationary retrograde at 24 Virgo (remains stationary 3 months, until April 13th at 3 Virgo). Mars will “quicken” our awareness as humanity as a group, the World Disciple), all of us turn inward (withdraw) to face Saturn, the disciplined teacher & Dweller on the Threshold (what is not completed, forgiven, loved enough, tended to, illumined yet? These will be faced with courage, steadfastness, strength and conscientiousness).
When we have cleared, forgiven and thus harmonized our past, the Angel of the Presence appears. Then we will begin to join forces, team up, partnership and collaborate together on creating the new world era through sharing new conversations, absorbing new ideas and using our focused, collective, coordinated, cooperative power of thought to bring changes into and expand the consciousness of humanity…our tasks as World Servers. And it is a very large task.
The most effective Way to this end is, as a group, standing within the Light that emanates from Shamballa, the Light Where the Will of God in Known, the Light that is the Divine Will-to-Good & Will-to-Love. When we do this with intention, and as a Group, we will make Right Choice, be within Right Attitude, Right Disciplineship, Right Stewardship, and be within Right Timing. We will become magnetic Servers and the resources needed within us and in the world will be available to us. This is a most important esoteric equation to be called into all Groups who seek to Serve. The retrogrades will assist us.

Wednesday is the World Economic Forum, Davos, Switzerland. Theme: The Great Transformation, Shaping New Models. (appropriate as Mars retrogrades). The NGWS (New Group of World Servers) stands around this forum with the Forces of Light, radiating to them the energies of Aquarius (the Willingness to Serve Humanity) and Libra (the Right Use of Money that brings equality to all of humanity).
And so here we are at the new Year of the magical, mythical, fire-breathing, life-altering Dragon, bestowing upon humanity special opportunities that save the world. How we traverse the first half of 2012 (retrograde, inward looking, preparing, cleansing, purifying), determines the quality of our lives in the 2nd half of 2012 and long afterward.
Chinese New Year festivities come to a close at full moon Aquarius solar festival, February 9, on my favorite festival, the Chinese Lantern Festival.

ARIES: The key thoughts for Aries this year, in order to feel victorious in the midst of transformations in the world are: quality, value, sustainability, Right Relations with money and resources, being directed by spiritual values that equalize. Take seriously all of Buddha’s words. He prepared the Way for his Brother. Go through everything from the past. Eliminate most. Keep treasures. Take long trips up mountains.
TAURUS: A new artistic ability has emerged much to your surprise, though you have longed for this since childhood. Make contact, a sort of networking on spiritual levels, with many people this year. Telling the truth concerning goals, purposes, the need for resources and resourceful people brings them forth quietly. Continue on your many paths. You have extra-planetary help. Pure foods alleviate what hurts.
GEMINI: Do you know what your future goals are? Sometimes neither Gemini nor Pisces can bring them into language or consciousness. We have goals but they remain hidden, etheric and inarticulated. This is a year of spiritual principles brought into outer practice. You find the principles sustain and create health and vitality. You’ll ask for no boundaries, thinking nothing is impossible. However, discipline is needed and this is a paradox.
CANCER: Whenever you find yourself in a group, observe that you have become quite able at accomplishing multiple tasks. When seeking help and support, along it comes hoping to serve you. It’s important to live life as a cooperative participant. As routines disappear, imagination becomes a source of direction. Maintain daily disciplines for health and well-being. You need strength for the future.
LEO: Work responsibilities expand. At times you may feel overwhelmed, other times you’re glad for the recognition and reliability of work. Sometimes you’re the leader and it helps you focus on what individual gifts and skills you have developed and now they’re needed by the group. This is the Leo/Aquarius paradigm, yin/yang. Actually you’re the yang. Be fun-filled for the festivities.
VIRGO: It’s good to assess all the good things of service you have done for others. These are your deeply personal and creative acts. Stay within these boundaries of goodness lest you feel emotionally exhausted and out of balance. The focus for you is self-identity, expansive trips and travel that sustain your spirit. Work and family are most important. Protect them.
LIBRA: You have shown discipline and structure these last years and they have helped create your self-identity as responsible and successful. Childhood may have felt difficult, harsh and cold, with either abandonment or strictness you didn’t understand. However, childhood was a training ground that has taken you into the fields of humanitarian service, assisting humanity always and everywhere. New resources emerge from the shadows. Someone misses you.
SCORPIO: What personal decisions have you made recently from listening to your inner voice and instincts? Do you find them reliable and do they protect you? Notice I didn’t use the word intuition. Because very few of us have evolved enough into intuition. We must be directed by the Soul and have built all seven levels of our mind to enter intuition. Another name for intuition is Rain Cloud of Knowable Things. You know a lot.
SAGITTARIUS: Wishes are powerful. One day they manifest. Usually when our wish has dissipated and we’re wishing for something else altogether. What have you wished for? What has come true? What are you wishing for now? If our wishes are deep enough we can’t reverse their manifesting in our lives. Most of our wishes are good things. I wish for you Right Resources and Right Use of Money. CAPRICORN: In the next months there are two important things to consider. You are to apply more of yourself to creative pursuits, bringing beauty out of everything. You are also to organize your money and finances, if children are around teach them about finance: how to save, how to give, how to buy things of value and to care for them & having gratitude. All Capricorns are experiencing deep transformations, like inner earthquakes. You are “riding the dragon.”
AQUARIUS: You will feel in the coming months the need for a more stable home that sustains, comforts and protects, enabling you to look into the future, preparing for that future. It’s possibly far away from where you usually live. Or it calls upon all your resources. It’s possible also a relationship is involved or very close friends. Soon you will seek a new direction and bring forth new endeavors. You’ve already begun. Have fun now.
PISCES: Chiron is in Pisces and soon Neptune, too. Chiron makes one very sensitive to the needs of the world. Sensitive to the abandoned, the unseen, the hungry, the homeless and the “wilderness” many of us live in today. Chiron’s sensitivity makes you want to serve others. Your mind seeks ways to create an alternative, a template of care for everyone. You seek resources. Ask for them. This is a spiritual journey. A journey of White Magic.
