About Sparrow Hawk Village
Sparrow Hawk Village was established in 1981 in Tahlequah, OK by Rev. Carol E. Parrish-Harra, her husband Charles, and several students and colleagues, as an intentional spiritual community and home to Sancta Sophia Seminary and Light of Christ Community Church.
While many villagers are esoteric Christian, Sparrow Hawk Village is open to members of all faiths. We are blessed with members of various Western and Eastern practices, which create a diverse spiritual experience. Our residents are involved in the healing arts, music, counseling, dowsing, teaching, meditating, spiritual dance, and esoteric studies.
Village life is enriched by a constant steam of international guests and students who participate in classes and workshops offered by accredited programs of Sancta Sophia Seminary.
This is a place of spiritual growth. There could be no more fitting place for an esoteric school—here in the Ozark Mountains where energy vortices accelerate personal and interpersonal evolution.
