How to Apply

All are welcome at Sancta Sophia Seminary, an interfaith esoteric school dedicated to preparing students for spiritual leadership and planetary service.

Application Instructions

An applicant for enrollment in a Seminary program of study must submit a completed application form, with a non-refundable fee of $75, to the Registrar. Download the application form and instructions or one may be requested via e-mail: information@sanctasophia.org or by calling 800/386-7161 or 918/456-3421. Following a personal interview, the student will be assigned an advisor who will guide and assist the student’s progress through the program.

Application may be made throughout the year. Study is self-paced and advances through a combination of on-campus classes, independent study, and practicum.

Application Procedure

If you wish to pursue a formal seminary degree or certification, the first step is to define your goals and choose your course of study. Please see Seminary Degrees and Certifications for program descriptions.

  • Certificate of Spiritual Studies (CSS)
  • Certificate in Ministerial Studies (CMS)
  • Credential for Esoteric Teachings (CET)
  • Master of Divinity (MDiv)
  • Master of Arts in Spirituality
  • Doctor of Ministry

Doctoral Degrees are available for both those who have earned Master Degrees through Sancta Sophia Seminary’s esoteric school, and those who have obtained a Master Degree from another school.

Many of our interfaith seminary courses are approved for continuing education units for Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors.

Step One: Written Application

Our application form gathers important data such as your chosen course of study, educational background, and personal details such as date of birth, address, etc. In addition, we require:

  • Your personal biography.
  • Give us insight into your educational background, work history, and spiritual development.
  • Include studies, teachers who have inspired you, and your areas of specific interest.
  • Let us know why you seek a seminary degree. (All your information will be kept confidential.)
  • A recent photo of yourself.
  • A copy of your natal astrology chart. If you don’t have this, we can assist. We’ll need your name, plus date, time, and location of your birth. (If you don’t know the time, contact the Department of Vital Statistics in the State where you were born.)
  • Your check for $75 for your personal interview. Add $5 if you wish us to supply your natal chart.
  • A letter stating possible dates for your interview at Sancta Sophia Seminary.

Step Two: Your Interview

Once we have received and reviewed this information, we’ll contact you to schedule an interview with the Dean and your potential advisor.

Once admitted, you may begin your studies at any time. Because a portion of your wisdom studies will be done at home, you begin when you are ready. Depending upon your course of study, you will also be required to be on campus for certain one-week classes.

Your personal advisor will help you choose those classes required or recommended for your individual course of study, be it ministerial ordination through our interfaith seminary, or esoteric studies to enrich any other career path.
