Educational Philosophy
Our educational focus is on personal growth, transformation, and preparing students for service to the Divine. We provide a supportive environment with our campus buildings, Wisdom Studies Specialty Library and Wellness Center nestled among 440 acres of rolling Ozark forest at Sparrow Hawk Village. We offer students five possible directions of study leading to either a certificate, a Master of Divinity or a Doctor of Ministry. Each path of study provides a process of development which is guided through a mentoring plan, independent study, on-line, and small group/classes on campus. This holistic learning plan encourages the practice of self-discipline and adherence to the high principles we study. As students progress they learn how the current and future needs of humanity may be addressed through the interaction of groups working together with higher consciousness.
Our curriculum offers courses which engage the student through a balance of inner spirit/heart and an analytical approach. As students move through the experience of attending classes at Sparrow Hawk Village, and our blend of study, meditation, class interactions and assignments, their self-awareness about how to creatively answer their call to service develops. Our goal is to aid students in the deepening of their personal connection to the Divine, and to prepare them for the lifetime journey of service in their relationship to others.
