
What is a Wellness Guide?
A Wellness Guide is a practitioner who has been specifically prepared to assist others in the integration of body, mind, and spirit ideals.
Wellness Guide Certification qualifies you to establish a private practice and/or work in a counseling center, spa, professional association, or corporation, teaching wellness as the optimum state of well-being available to the body, mind, and spirit.
The Wellness Guide Certification Program consists of:
The program employs a variety of teaching methods: lecture, situational practicum, group discussion, experiential exercises, assigned readings, case studies, student presentations, and videos. A strong emphasis is placed on ethical practices.
Wellness Guide enrollees participate in Graduate Week activities with other seminary students. Classes begin on the Saturday morning prior to Graduate Week and continuing on the Sunday prior and the Saturday following Graduate Week. Foundations of Spirituality can be completed concurrently.
