Sancta Sophia Seminary:
A Mystery School of Ageless Wisdom

An interfaith seminary and mystery school, Sancta Sophia is dedicated to the encouragement of personal spiritual growth, transformation, the evolution of consciousness, and the preparation of world servers to assist in bringing forth the New Humanity.

Sancta Sophia Seminary emphasizes the message of esoteric Christianity and offers a transformational course of study that includes intellectual tools and practical techniques for personal spiritual growth.

Our innovative approach prepares practitioners, teachers, and ministers for interfaith service who wish to assist humanity during this time of spiritual awakening.

Sancta Sophia's students of esoteric Christianity take many paths in their quest to create a life of light, love and service. As a student of this new thought interfaith seminary, your studies may be directed toward:

Personal growth through metaphysical studies.

• Certifications
  These specialized trainings are open to all, whether or not you are enrolled in a program of metaphysical studies. Many are approved for Continuing Education Units.
• Foundations of Spirituality
  These wisdom studies qualify students to receive Light of Christ Community Church lay ministry certification as a Practitioner.
• Preparation for Christian Ministry
  Ministers ordained by Light of Christ Community Church also receive the endorsement of the International Council of Community Churches.
• Wellness Guide Certification
  This certification qualifies students to teach wellness as the optimum state of well-being.
• Spiritual Mentor Certification
  These esoteric studies qualify the student to assist those who seek a personal relationship with the Divine Essence within themselves.

Through our interfaith seminary Graduate Program you may earn a:

• Master of Divinity Degree
• Master of Theology Degree
• Master of Arts in Holistic Wellness
• Master of Arts in Spirituality

Doctoral degrees are available for those who have earned a Master degree through Sancta Sophia Seminary or from another school. We offer the following doctoral degrees:

• Doctor of Ministry
• Doctor of Theology
• Doctor of Philosophy in Religious Studies
• Doctor of Philosophy in Spiritual Studies
• Doctor of Philosophy in Holistic Wellness

Accreditation

Sancta Sophia Seminary is accredited through the Accrediting Commission International for Schools, Colleges, and Theological Seminaries, Inc. whose primary objective is the encouragement and maintenance of sound scholarship and the highest academic achievement in the areas of private education.

Light of Christ Community Church is a part of the International Council of Community Churches (ICCC) and serves as a network for individuals prepared to serve as ministers, teachers, and practitioners (lay ministers) steeped in esoteric Christianity. Such persons are prepared for ministry and service through Sancta Sophia Seminary. Each graduate of Sancta Sophia Seminary Preparation for Ministry Program receives the endorsement of the ICCC upon ordination.

A Spiritual Education Experience as Unique as You Are

As an interfaith seminary, we welcome all, regardless of race, color, national or ethnic origin, gender, or sexual orientation, age, religion, handicap, or status as a veteran. Interfaith seminary degrees and ministerial ordinations are conferred to male and female alike.

Because you are an individual, your esoteric studies must also be individual. Your transformative process will be designed just for you. It will include:

• Home study
• On-campus study
• Meditation
• Practicum
• Personal advisor (a spiritual mentor for your metaphysical studies)

Home Study

Much of your mystery school course work will be completed at home through reading, meditation, and listening to recordings. To supplement the course materials, students are welcome to borrow books and tapes and CDs from the Sancta Sophia Wisdom Studies Specialty Library. You will also be able to communicate with your personal advisor as you progress through home study.

If your desire is to enrich your own life through esoteric studies, without pursuing a degree, certification, or ordination in esoteric Christianity, you may choose to attend on-campus classes or enroll in our online classes. These classes will assist you in creating a life of love, hope, light, and joy—and in attaining the shift in consciousness toward healing, wholeness and holiness.

If you wish to receive ministerial ordination or certification as a Wellness Guide or Spiritual Mentor, we require that you attend certain one-week classes on campus in addition to your home study. Each degree or certification carries its own requirements for on-campus study—all require a certain number of weeks on campus during your chosen course of study. Your personal spiritual advisor will assist you in planning your on-campus time.

The On-Campus Experience

The Sancta Sophia Seminary campus at Sparrow Hawk Village is perfectly suited to the study of esoteric Christianity. Nestled among the Oklahoma hills, it not only affords a peaceful, pastoral setting, but is situated in natural energy vortices which accelerate personal and interpersonal evolution.

On Campus Classes give our students the opportunity to interact with each other and with the instructors in ways that home study cannot offer.

Because Sancta Sophia is an interfaith seminary, you'll meet a wide variety of students and create friendships with students of esoteric Christianity from all corners of the world.

Group work and peer support will move you further toward the goal of personal growth, transformation, and the evolution of consciousness.

Reading and Research

While on campus, you can read, relax, and study in our Our Wisdom Studies Specialty Library, which offers over 11,000 books, 8,000 audio recordings, and 300 video tapes on esoteric Christianity, world religions, and spiritual science to complement your metaphysical studies.

You'll research religions from ancient to present, as well as all facets of spirituality and personal development. In addition, the library houses all student papers, Master theses, and Doctoral dissertations, so you can read and learn from interfaith seminary students who have come before you.

You'll also have the opportunity to browse our bookstore. Here you'll find books and tapes, as well as astrological charts, which can be purchased for classes, and for enrichment of your home study. Build your personal metaphysical studies library with the treasures you'll find here.

Online Courses in Esoteric Christianity

We offer sample classes online free of charge, and a variety of classes in Esoteric Christianity are also available online for course credit. You can learn more and enroll at any time at our online learning portal Sophia Online.
