Light of Christ Community Church
Co-pastors Retha Banez and Robert Willson extend a warm welcome from Light of Christ Community Church - the center of our esoteric spiritual community and of our interfaith seminary.
Founded by Reverend Carol E. Parrish in 1981, Light of Christ Community Church bases its esoteric interfaith teachings on the belief that we are all people of one God. LCCC welcomes and embraces all who seek a greater understanding of themselves and God - regardless of religion, race, color, creed, gender, or sexual orientation.
We recognize in all prophets a harmony, in all scriptures a unity, and through all dispensations a continuity. We honor the response to the call demonstrated by each seminarian and seek to guide each into the right place of service. We respectfully certify and give ministerial ordination to both male and female.
If You are Spiritual but Not Religious,
Light Of Christ Community Church is for You
In place of dogma and doctrine, you will find the teachings of LCCC to be eclectic and universal. We seek to teach, encourage and promote spiritual healing in all its modes and phases. Our interfaith Christian church accepts the teachings of Master Jesus as the Christed One who offers the Way to humanity through the Christian faith.
Light of Christ Community Church is the accrediting body for the interfaith seminary Sancta Sophia Seminary.
We are affiliated with the International Council of Community Churches, a council of independent churches from broad backgrounds who form an international voice. Each graduate of Sancta Sophia Seminary's Preparation for Ministry Program receives their endorsement upon ministerial ordination.
LCCC certified teachers and ordained interfaith ministers meet the legal requirements to begin study groups or churches—and much more. Our graduates are prepared to assist those seeking guidance toward transformation and individuals in active growth. Their service may take place in a religious/spiritual setting or it may be a place of business, work, or play.
In conjunction with Sancta Sophia Seminary, Light of Christ Community Church serves as a network for individuals prepared to serve as ordained ministers, teachers, and practitioners (lay ministers) steeped in esoteric Christianity.
Our interfaith Christian approach places a strong emphasis on quality of character, transformation, spirituality, and ethics.
