Sancta Sophia’s students of esoteric Christianity take many paths in their quest to create a life of light, love and service. As a student of this progressive Christian interfaith seminary, your studies may be directed toward:
• Personal Growth and Transformation through metaphysical studies.
• Specialized Certifications. These intensive trainings are open to all, whether or not you are enrolled in a program of metaphysical studies. Many are approved for Continuing Education Units.
• Certificate of Spiritual Studies (CSS). These wisdom studies qualify students to receive Light of Christ Community Church lay ministry certification as a Practitioner. Certificate in Spiritual Studies Curriculum Brochure
• Credential for Esoteric Teachings (CET). This credential is awarded to students to teach the universal ancient wisdom and the tenets, objectives and interfaith approach of Light of Christ Community Church.
• Certificate in Ministerial Studies (CMS). Ministers ordained by Light of Christ Community Church also receive the endorsement of the International Council of Community Churches. Certificate in Ministerial Studies Curriculum Brochure
Through our interfaith seminary Graduate Program you may earn a:
• Master of Divinity Degree (MDiv)
This interfaith seminary degree uniquely prepares graduates to minister in chaplain roles in hospital or hospice type settings.
• Master of Spirituality Degree
The Master of Arts in Spirituality degree program offers tools for personal transformation and a greater understanding of our soul’s purpose. Students are equipped to find inner peace and be of spiritual service to the world. Master of Spirituality Brochure
Our Doctoral degree is available for those who have earned a Master degree through Sancta Sophia Seminary or from another school. We offer the following doctoral degree:
• Doctor of Ministry Degree (DMin)
Designed as a program for professional ministers, the Doctor of Ministry combines creativity and advanced study with theory and praxis grounded in academics and the community of faith.
